A few words about me: I’m a longtime multiplatform journalist who worked her way up from green-as-grass grad student getting her feet wet in radio at the legendary WAER/Syracuse to producer, editor, news and features writer, assignment editor, radio newscast producer, and TV news writer at ABC Radio, Fox News Radio, and CBS News.

Along the way I’ve produced and written nationally syndicated music shows and news services in multiple genres, booked musical talent for major radio shows, interviewed more musicians and celebrities than I can count, written liner notes for albums, and contributed all kinds of editorial to radio, digital, and print outlets.

These days, I work mostly on news side. In addition to my various roles at CBS News Radio, I write for CBS’s Weekend News — the weekend version of the CBS Evening News.

I’m a proud Smith College grad (who took a yearlong detour at Harvard) with a master’s degree from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
