A few words about me: I’m a multiplatform writer/editor/producer/journalist/storyteller who worked her way up from green-as-grass grad student getting her feet wet in radio at the legendary WAER/Syracuse to producer, editor, news and features writer, assignment editor, national radio newscast producer, and TV news writer at ABC Radio, Fox News Radio, and CBS News (Radio and Television).

As a journalist I’ve covered an extremely wide range of stories and interviewed all kinds of newsmakers. At CBS News Radio I produce newscasts — stacking newscasts and editing scripts. I’m also an assignment editor, working with reporters, news writers, desk associates and others to manage the workflow and ensure that every newscast has the most up-to-date elements possible. In addition, I’m an experienced news writer who can tell a vivid, compelling story in a few words. I’m used to working at the breakneck pace of live news, and I can stay calm and focused under the most demanding breaking-news conditions.

I also have a strong background in music journalism and content creation. I’ve produced and written nationally syndicated music shows and news services in multiple genres, booked musical talent for major radio shows, interviewed more musicians and celebrities than I can count, written liner notes for albums, and contributed all kinds of editorial to radio, digital, and print outlets. I’ve even been in a couple of music videos.

I’m a proud Smith College graduate (who took a yearlong detour at Harvard) with a master’s degree from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
